AFSZ and the Asthma Friendly School Award

The AFSZ supports theAsthma Friendly School Award program, introduced in the 2007-08 school year by the New York City Asthma Partnership (NYCAP) of the NYC Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Through February 2008 we are offering a tailored AFSZ Environmental Intervention Kit that includes:

• No-Idling signs (2).
• No-Smoking signs (2) and
• relevant print support materials (NYS/NYC laws, health effects, environmental impact, etc.)

If you are a school that is aiming for the award, our signs and collaterol print material will address:

• Essential Criteria 1, 7 and 8
• Recommended Criteria 12 and 16
